Sex is a great exercise workout. If you can combine sex and exercise, it becomes sexercise. Exercising and having sex at the same time can do wonders for your body. It is the most pleasurable way of exercising.

Sexercising is a modern day concept. Sex has always been regarded as an immune system boosting physical activity. During sex a lot of hormonal changes happen. The body goes through some positive physiological changes too. This makes it an excellent indulgence.

Sexercises build and tone the muscles. They are especially good on the lower body. If you want to get rid of the flab on your waist, have sex more. But do it lovingly!

Sexercises can be done using different positions. Typically one partner should be of a lesser weight. But it does not matter that much though. Sexercises are excellent for straight people. It might not be for gays.

Before embarking on such an activity, there is no harm in consulting a sexologist. You will understand what you need to take care off while having sex and exercising at the same time. You also need to adjudicate your suitability for it. The sexologist might need to take your blood pressure and pulse reading.

Sexercises are great isometric exercises. A lot of tension is applied on various parts of the body without the need for making angular movements. You can refer good manuals on sexercises at your local bookstore. Search on the Internet for such information. There are plenty of sexercises. It’s a wonderful way of having sex…everyday.

There are many components to a healthy lifestyle, with two being proper nutrition and exercise. No matter how busy someone is, these are important. In fact, the busier you are, the more important they are to your health and wellbeing.

Busy Lifestyles and Exercise

Many people are forced to juggle various activities so finding time for exercise can be hard. The situation is not impossible, but ways have to be found to remain physically active. Some simple ways to exercise without hitting the gym include:

  • Using the stairs as much as possible.
  • Walking instead of driving when it is convenient
  • Doing basic exercises like pushups in the mornings

Eating Properly

Healthy meals don’t have to be expensive or take much time to prepare. There are many healthy snacks available for sale. In addition, sugar laden soft drinks can be replaced with water or fruit juice.

Another aspect of nutrition that deserves attention is that of portion sizes. Not many people understand this or how to calculate the amount of calories they consume. Based on activity levels, caloric intake can make a big difference in maintaining a healthy weight.

Many studies have shown that people who eat at home tend to eat a lot healthier than when they eat out. This is good not only for your waist and health, but also your pocket. It tends to be cheaper to prepare your own meals.

For a healthy life regardless of age, in addition to nutrition and exercise, rest is also necessary. This will lead to a strengthened immune system and improved overall health.

An Apple a Day … and a Regular Workout

Whether or not the old saying is true – an apple a day may, in fact, keep the doctor away – one thing is true, regular exercise will also help.

A regular fitness routine that allows you to exercise your whole body will pay off, especially as you get older.  From an increase in energy to stronger bones and muscles, a consistent workout will help you ward off an array of health problems, such as diabetes, chronic heart conditions, and even some types of cancer. Those are good things if you want to stay out of the doctor’s office.

These and many other benefits are only available to you if you will remain consistent in your workout schedule. Whether you hit the gym or the pavement, you must include some form of exercise three or four days a week to get good results.

This type of schedule will allow your body to get in the habit of moving and being used, but also gives at least a day of rest between workouts. That rest is very important, as it will allow your muscle tissue time to repair itself from the strains of your fitness regimen. And, that repair time is very helpful if you are trying to burn calories, since the body burns lots of them while it repairs itself.

Consistency, though, is the key to any healthy fitness strategy. It can be fine to take the occasional vacation from your exercise schedule, but it must be done with the determination that you will return to the normal routine very soon. Too much time off can cause the body to lose what it had gained, leaving you to play catch up on your fitness goals.

Do your best to maintain that schedule. Soon, you’ll be on your way to a healthier you.
